I have to thank Xande for many of these verses. I got them from her blog then added a few of my own.
As the birth of our little one draws near I am focusing on and trusting God to give me the grace and strength to deliver this baby healthy, strong and naturally without much pain. God is faithful and I am relying on Him!
I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:4,5 NIV
Listen to me…you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:3,4 NIV
We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in You.
Psalm 33:20-22
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 NIV
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2 NIV
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15
I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:23-24
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Phil. 4:13
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19
So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. Heb. 10:23
For nothing will be impossible with God. Luke 1:37
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Tim 1:7
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:26-27
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

New beginnings....
I saw that my beloved sister had once again posted on her blog so I figured it wouldn't hurt me to do the same.
So much has happened since my last post. 2009 was probably one of the most stressful years of my life. That is saying a lot considering my husband and I went through a 15 month deployment causing us to celebrate our 1st AND second anniversaries apart.
Jason got out of the army January of 2009 and went through various jobs until he got his current job at Keen Energy. Unfortunately the economy is not conducive to stability right now. He likes the job but it has caused us to be apart majority of 2009 and some of 2010. But sacrifices must be made at times. Thankfully God sustains us through it all. Each day I am learning to let go and trust Him.
Amidst the craziness of life we have been blessed with a baby on the way. As of right now, I am about 13 weeks along! I have not been able to hear the baby's heartbeat yet but in 2 short weeks that will change! It amazes me that a little somebody is growing inside me. I can't wait to see him/her!
Just when it seems like we have it all figured out God changes it up on us. I learned that this past year and I will continue to learn it. There is never a time when we don't need to trust Him. Sometimes we have to hang on to Him a little tighter than before when we are going through difficult times but it just strengthens us all the more.
Holding fast.....

FINALLY.........
Here are the pics of the house. I made the time to pick up a bit and snap the photos today. I can procrastinate no longer. So for all you patient people who stuck with me so far.......enjoy!
border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224820422907796370" />
Front of house. We are on a corner lot, in case you can't see it.
Front of house with more of the driveway.
Front porch where I love to sit and relax!
The back of the house. Notice our tiny garden, we've actually gotten a few tomatoes! We are planning on putting a fence up at some time and a workshop/shed in the back.
The living room from the kitchen/dining room.
Living room from the front door/master bedroom
Kitchen. Counter space!
Dining room. The door on the left goes to the little laundry/utility room. I am so excited to have a laundry ROOM, not my washer and dryer in the kitchen!
Master bedroom
Master bedroom into closet and master bath.
Master bath. I have counter space!
Guest bath
Office. This originally was going to be my room for massage but we decided to make it into an office. There still is room to put my table up in the middle.
Guest room....I know, I know. It sure doesn't look like it. CURRENTLY it is our storage area until we get the shed built. We originally were looking for a house with a basement, but couldn't find a good one. Oh well. The shed is our next project so hopefully this will be a guest room soon.
This is the trey ceiling in the living room. There also is one in the master bedroom. I thought it was pretty cool.
And last but not least...my boys!
I have not put anything up on the walls as you can see. I really need to have a friend help me decorate. I have a hard time visualizing it sometimes.
If ever you are near Louisville,KY let me know and we'd love to see you!

Dance...
I LOVE dancing...which is one reason why I enjoy watching "So You Think You Can Dance". Here is a routine that I watched from a couple of weeks ago and I had to share it. It describes perfectly the emotions of an upcoming deployment for a soldier and his family. Awesomely danced!

I've been tagged....
If you came to my house. . .
You would see:
Two beautiful window boxes on the front porch brimming over with flowers, Benny laying on the sofa and our new cat Oscar sitting in the window, bare walls because I cannot seem to find the time to "decorate" and a place where 2 people enjoy living.
We’d probably feed you:
Goldfish (I've had a craving for them the past month), watermelon and anything else I decide to make for dinner.
And offer you this to drink:
Water, sweet tea, milk and a stray soda of some sort.
We’d undoubtedly ask if you’d read:
Hmmmm.... anything good lately? Now a days I'm lucky to get to spend a few minutes reading Real Simple magazine, let alone a book. But I have a few I'd like to chill with.....
We’d want to play this music for you:Anything Country.....I agree with Amy, who wants to listen to music when you can gab with friends?
We’d want to tell you the latest about:
Church, work, and wherever we've been hiking lately....just to name a few
We’d probably suggest a game of:
CANASTA
We might/would definitely show off:
our new home, giving the grand tour that takes all of 5 minutes. Open floor plan... :-)
We might get on the computer and show you:
Some of our favorite pictures, or cool videos we've seen on YouTube.
If it was a long enough visit, we might watch:
Depends on the person.....home videos, chick flick, action/adventure? I completely agree Amy.
What would a visit to your house be like?
So, I'm supposed to tag some other folks. Let's say:
Aliza
Domestic Intellectual
Charletta
Although it sounds like we're too busy to be home, we tend to just relax and watch a few of our favorite shows in the evening, plus catch up on the happenings of life. Sometimes it feels like we're travelling in a million directions...lol
Here's a little update of our life.....Jason gets out of the army in January so he is starting the process now. All this week he has ACAP training. Not sure what is stands for but it pretty much is classes on writing a resume, how to look for a job, etc. He has a few ideas of where he'd like to work, but first he wants to make sure he has what he needs to get started. It is kinda weird thinking about getting out of the Army. Although it has been tough at times, its all we've known being married almost 3 years now. We are not going to have the same benefits or responsibilities as we have now. It's exciting, yet a LITTLE scary....lol But God knows what we need and where He wants us, so we're following Him.
Work is still the same. I have my 90 day review coming up on Thursday. I'm not really worried since my boss and I have already talked a bit, but I know there are areas that I can improve.
As I mentioned above we have a cat. He really is Jason's cat. I don't mind cats but I certainly am more of a dog person. Jason has the joy of playing with a crazy black and white cat about 1 yr old. Oscar is definitely something else. We've only had him about a week but he is slowly warming up to Benny. Benny doesn't mind him but depending on Oscar's mood he either doesn't mind Ben or hates him. I swear he has split personalities....lol
Well, I got a lot to do this morning before work so I better cut out. Ta-ta for now!

We're in the house!
Just a quickie to let you know that we are moved into the new house. YEAH! I'll post pics as soon as I can. Life is crazy with us having moved, my work moving to a bigger location, my friend getting married in Michigan and me singing at her wedding and the plans that are coming up for the next couple of months. Will it ever slow down? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Not moving yet...
Here's a quick update: We found out the day of our walk through that the house is not ready and that earlier they had asked for an addendum, unbeknownced to us. So needless to say, we are not moving until April 11th. It's good in that it gives us more time to pack, but bad in that we have to change everything we had previously set up, including people to help us move.
Our realtor had done many things that we were not happy with and so after talking to his broker and laying out what took place, SHE is now our realtor. We are much relieved. Things are starting to get done, finally.
So that's what's happening so far.......
